“Jesus came permanently. He came as a King to set His Kingdom in the midst of his citizens…” — St Annibale Maria Di Francia, FS, p. 266
Jesus’ way of teaching His disciples and the people in general, is always in the form of short stories – as parables. His stories always end with moral lessons. They give us inspiration, teach us spiritual values, and help us to learn how to live a better life. Jesus’ narrated stories deliver good news for us to better understand and direct us towards God’s Kingdom. He always shares the beauty of His Kingdom. God’s obsession is that He wants us all to live in His Kingdom – a place where we are destined to live our lives eternally.
…”Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,on earth as it is in heaven…” — Our Father: prayer Jesus taught to His disciples
Do you think that the Kingdom of God can already be here on earth? Yes – we can have a foretaste of God’s Kingdom if we live our life justly, in love, peace, humility, kindness, mercy, compassion, etc. If we try to live our lives with positive values and virtues, then we can say the Kingdom is at hand – it is a taste of heaven for us.
Let us continue to live heaven here on earth with a grateful and joyful heart!
