“If you seek perfection, go sell your possessions and give to the poor, then follow me.” (Jesus Christ)

If the Lord has extended his invitation to you, then do not hesitate to answer his call with LOVE. Beloved ones of Jesus Christ, become a part of our religious family. With us you will learn that there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s brothers or sisters, the poor, the children, in the missions, in the parish and in the schools.

Begin each day by praying to the Lord of the Harvest that He may send workers into His harvest.

To become a Daughter of Divine Zeal (FDZ) you need to be:

  • filled with the intention to follow the Lord
  • willing to undergo the formation offered
  • 20 – 30 years old and never been married
  • a college graduate or at least in 2nd year college
  • physically and mentally healthy
  • psychologically mature
  • free from financial obligations

The formation journey for an FDZ Sister involves several stages:

Aspirancy – come and see…

A young woman starts out on a journey of growth in the faith and discovers her call in one of our youth centres. Then follows an initial experience in a formation community together with other young women.

Postulancy

This is the period when a young woman assesses her own call in accordance with the Institute’s spirituality and prepares to follow God’s call as a Daughter of Divine Zeal.

Novitiate

This is a period dedicated principally to prayer, reflection, study, life in community and vocation discernment.

The novice puts aside all other commitments so as to deepen her love relationship with Jesus and to experience her apostolic commitment to the Institute’s works.

Temporary Religious Profession

The young professed entrusts herself to the Lord who consecrates her to himself by way of the vows of:

  • poverty,
  • chastity,
  • obedience, and
  • zeal for the Rogate.

She becomes part of the Religious Family committing herself to observe its Rule of Life.

Definitive Religious Profession

This stage is a sign of the indissoluble union of Christ with the Church, his Spouse.

The Daughter of Divine Zeal affirms her definitive consecration to the Lord, and to the service of the Church, in accordance with the needs of the harvest.
