May the lamp of vocations continue to burn brightly before St Joseph’s image as he intercedes for many more vocations and holy apostles in the Church.
Today we celebrate the Feast Day of St Joseph who is one of the patron saints of our Institute. As well as this very important Feast Day, 19 March is also the anniversary of when St Annibale Maria Di Francia founded the Congregation of the Daughters of Divine Zeal in Messina, Italy in 1887.
In December last year, Pope Francis announced the Year of Saint Joseph which began on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception last year and will continue until the same Feast Day this 08 December. St Joseph, special Patron of the Church, is for our Founding Father a special Patron of the Work, the father of Providence and the model of the interior life. His Feast, from the beginning of our Institute, has been linked to entry into the novitiate and religious professions.
We wish everyone a Happy Feast Day of St Joseph!
