Our hearts are filled with joy and gratitude to God as we celebrated the Feast of St Annibale Maria Di Francia today, Monday 1 June 2020. He was widely known as the Father of the orphans and of the poor. Enlightened by the Word of God, he worked with every means in the propagation of the command of Jesus to pray the Lord of the harvest for the gift of good labourers. To actualize this in the Church and in the world, his apostolic ideals, he founded two religious families: the Daughters of Divine Zeal and the Rogationist Fathers.
Due to his sanctity and his mission, St Annibale was proclaimed as the great apostle of prayer for vocations and as the Anticipator and Zealous teacher of the Modern Pastoral Care for Vocations.
Thank you to all who participated online and in person at our St Annibale Feast Day Mass at 4:30pm today in our FDZ Chapel. We especially thank the Rogationist Fathers, Fr Rene Ramirez RCJ (Main Celebrant) and Fr Gerald Biñegas RCJ (Concelebrant) who are based at the Holy Family Parish, for making the live stream of the video below possible:
You can view some photos taken at the Mass in our Facebook Album.
