In His mercy and compassion

Today is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Thinking of God makes our own hearts fill with His love. Jesus is love, He is the source of all love, He loves all and above all His love never withers. This is His heart, so sacred, beating for us lovingly. Being with God is our desire to be and to remain with Him forever because His love gives us life and strength.

How sad it is if our life is lived miserably. We are not fully alive in spirit if we are affected by a lot of negative experiences. It is a challenge for us to overcome all of these negative moments that surround us. Let us rise up and be humble enough to ask for God’s help! Life can be so beautiful to live if we to decide to make it beautiful. Surely if God is always in our heart, we can see many beautiful things. God makes all things beautiful because of His great love for us, His compassion and the mercy He shares with us, to remind and convince us of the greatness of His love.

Many times we are knocked down by our failures, weaknesses and limitations but He is there for us and ready to help us. This is what we believe in who God is for us. He has a big heart for all humanity. In His heart each one of us has a room where we may dwell. He is there to stand before us just as He had promised:

“I am with you always until the end of time.” (Matthew 28:20)

This is His promise to us that will never be broken.

God’s heart has so much love, mercy and compassion.  He is already placed at the centre of our being and as He is in our heart, we will be transformed to be like Him. Our being will be constantly worshipping and singing a joyful song forever if we recognise that God’s presence is within us. His heart knows nothing about vengeance and condemnation. His heart is purely love, mercy and compassion and contains so many other positive qualities.

Let us live in God’s heart, a heart that continues to gives us life and daily inspiration.

“The Global Rosary Relay for Priests begins at the stroke of midnight on June 23, this year, commencing in East Asia as it begins its journey around the world. We thank you for making this worldwide prayer event a success in the past as we now look forward to sharing in a greatly enhanced event for 2017, when over 100 lead shrines in more than 50 countries around the world will pray the rosary in their local language at their allocated time.

Here is a message to all priests for this important day: The Priesthood Is the Love of the Heart of Jesus and the Prayers for Priests, both for priests to say for themselves, and for lay people to say for priests.” — Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, CatholicCulture.org
