In Jesus’ name

Jesus' Holy Name

The Most Holy Name of Jesus is the most powerful, above all other names. It is His name that reveals His mission on earth. We call upon His name with worship, praise, reverence, and honour.  In Jesus’ name we entrust everything: our prayer of petitions, intentions and thanksgiving. We are assured that our request will be answered by His will as Jesus has said:

“I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13)

“Very truly, I tell you, if you ask anything of the Father in My name, He will give it to you.” (John 16:23)

As we pray to Jesus in His name, we are one with Him in praying to the Father. Let us be sincere and fully entrust ourselves to Jesus, uniting our hearts, minds and our whole being to His Most Holy Name.  Miracles happen according to His will for what is good and best for us.

For the Daughters of Divine Zeal and the Rogationists of the Heart of Jesus, the Feast of the Most Holy Name of Jesus is an important devotion celebrated at the conclusion of the month of January.  It is the day of the “Supplica” when we present petitions, praises and thanksgiving before the Blessed Sacrament. We deeply pray and give thanks for all the blessings received and achieved throughout the year.  We are excited about that day of prayer and to hear the good news of the Institute.

Wishing everyone a Happy Feast Day!  Let us continue to live our faith journey with zeal in this year of 2017. God bless you all in the Most Holy Name of Jesus.  All will be well as His will be done.
