Christ the Mediator

Jesus our MediatorA mediator is often a person who is a ‘go-between’ for two individuals or groups, often to help them in situations where reconciliation or agreement is needed.

“Is Christ our one, true mediator? Absolutely! And it is this same Christ who has chosen to use his Body to mediate God’s grace to the world in and through him.” — Tim Staples, One Mediator Between God and Men

The great remedy

O Jesus,
You did not come to call the righteous
but sinners,
we prostrate at Your feet
and cry like Peter upon our sins.

We pray you, O Lord:
Put to work the great remedy
which you have taught in the Holy Gospel
so that all souls be saved:
send everywhere
holy and numerous priests.

Sanctify all those
who are initiated to the priesthood,
that one day they apply with great zeal
to instruct all children in your truth,
to gain innumerable souls
with holy example, with ardent words,
with constant sacrifice of themselves,
with the unceasing prayer,
with every holy initiative,
and convert to you all sinners
so that Your most sweet Heart
be infinitely consoled.

Amen.

    • Yes it is beautiful. May it inspire us to be creative and live our lives in such a way that it be for the greater glory of God:

“Whatever your work is, put your heart into it as if it were for the Lord and not for men, knowing that the Lord will repay you by making you his heirs. It is Christ the Lord that you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24
