In the Eucharist, God shows Himself as a Provident and Loving Father. He is the source of everything that satisfies the needs of His people. He is the Good Shepherd who takes care of His sheep, leading them always to fresh and green pastures.
This is the real experience of our Congregation which has survived these last 125 years because we have such a Founder who willed what is best for his flock. This remains as a challenge for us FDZ, to live a life worthy of our vocation: to imitate our founder: St Annibale in his zeal for Rogate, and our Founder: Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Like Jesus, we are called to serve the needs of humanity, to become broken and shared so that we can be God’s instruments and His blessings to satisfy other people’s spirits, no matter what little resources we have. For we are blessed by Him in many ways and He is always with us.
