JESUS, the sweetest name that gives meaning to our life. The name that stands for the person that conveys, enfolds and envelops all of the majesty, power and glory. We give Thanks in the Name.
Eph. 5:20 says “Giving Thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ”. And because of this, we should continually have a thankful attitude towards God.
On 31 January 2012, the two institutes founded by St Annibale Maria Di Francia – the FDZ sisters and RCJ Fathers – gathered together as one in Maumere, Indonesia to celebrate this traditional and meaningful devotion of our Father Founder – “A DAY OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING”.
At 4pm, we the FDZ sisters, RCJ Fathers and the RCJ seminarians started the Grand Supplica held in the FDZ chapel. It was a union of one voice and heart singing our hymns of Praise to the Lord for what has been. After the supplica, we had our snacks followed by the vespers animated by the RCJ Fathers, the agape and fraternity of “Dance for All” followed. It was a meaningful moment of strengthening our rapport as spiritual children of St Annibale.
Jesus with one voice and one heart, we sing together our praises and thanksgiving for all the gifts, graces and blessings that you bestowed to each one of us as we journey throughout the year.
Enriched and equipped with your word, we the children of St Annibale may be able to proclaim your Name with hearts burning with zeal.
Strengthen us with your love and sustain us by your grace so that as children and of followers of yours we may be able to carry out the mission entrusted to us in this mission land.
Unconditional love, unlimited blessings that you abundantly shower upon each one of us – we praise and thank you, Lord Jesus.
Sons and daughters of St Annibale joined together with one voice to express our heartfelt gratitude of Thanksgiving, for the gift of the church, for the gift of Mama Mary, for the gift of life, for the gift of our families, for the gift of vocations, for the gift of perseverance, for the gift of Rogate and for the gift of St Annibale and Madre Maria Nazarena Majone who constantly accompany us and for the abiding presence of our Lord Jesus Christ who constantly dwells in us. This we ask in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN!
