A call is an invitation to discipleship. It is a challenge to follow Jesus and bear witness to him. It is a gift from God who chooses those whom he wants to call and send to bring the Good News. God expects a faithful response from those whom he calls to love and serve him. His call demands a choice and a strong faith to be able to pronounce a definite “Yes”.
We are called to share Christ’s love with those who are searching for God. We need nothing at all but faith in Jesus. God wants a heart that is willing to love and serve others and is ready to say promptly, Yes, Lord, here I am.
